Fundraising

All across Ireland, many GAA Clubs, community groups and parishes are organising scrap metal collection activities to raise funds for various public works.

With global commodity prices soaring, people up and down the country are finding that there are money making opportunities rusting away in their back yards. What once would have cost money to dispose of is now a valuable donation to charity. With the high prices available for scrap metal, the initiative is raising considerable sums for various organisations within the Community.

With such a great way to fund-raise, with a win-win result for all, many are realising that this is an ideal way to raise money which, when invested back into the community, will provide multiple benefits for many years to come.

How does it Work?

Hegarty Metals will  provide a skip and deliver it to your club grounds. Once your club members have participated in your “Scrap Metal Challenge” and the skip is full, we will collect it and pay you for the contents.

If you have taken part in a “Scrap Metal Challenge” previously, you can repeat and improve. If this type of event is new to you, please contact us and we will advise you on how its done. The initiative can be an ongoing activity and you can continue to source scrap metal and arrange for us to collect.
